在Buckethead的比較現實的傳記有說道，他是壹個恐怖電影愛好者。
現場的Buckethead戴著壹個蒼白塑膠面具，Kentucky Fried Chicken的大號全家桶，帶帽子的衣服（有時還會有壹個鬥篷）。
關於那個大號KFC桶的由來，據說是他有壹天晚上在吃KFC時，突然迸發的靈感。
他走到鏡子前面，將它們組合在壹起，於是，Buckethead就誕生了。

"I was eating it, and I put the mask on and then the bucket on my head.
I went to the mirror. I just said, 'Buckethead.
That's Buckethead right there.' It was just one of those things.
After that, I wanted to be that thing all the time."）
作為壹位才華縱橫的Guitarist、作曲家，他不僅會彈guitar，而且bass guitar，banjo，piano也不遜色。
當然，Buckethead是因為彈奏electric guitar而著名。
Buckethead還會跳robotic dancing，耍雙節棍。
他時常在他的壹些現場SHOW中贈送玩偶，常參加音樂會的人也會送禮物給他。
