Happen意思是發生、出現、碰巧、 偶然遇到等。happen是不及物動詞，用法有很多，那麽妳都知道它的用法嗎?
happen的過去式
1、happen過去式是happened，它是不及物動詞，沒有被動語態。如：Thes tory happened in1601.What happened then？這句話不能說What was happenedt hen？在這裏What做主語，這是壹個主謂結構。
2、happen與to連用表碰巧、巧遇。I happened to be in the market yesterday when a fire started.昨天發生火災時，我正好在市場上。
3、happen於on、upon連用偶表然發現。I happened on an old country hotel during the last summer holidays.去年暑假期間我偶然發現了壹家古老的鄉村旅館。
4.happen to......臨到某人頭上。Did you hear what happened to David last night?妳聽說大衛昨天晚上發生什麽事了嗎?
happen的用法
1、表示某地(某時)發生了什麽事，常用sth.+happen+地點/時間這壹結構來表達，此時主語應是事情。
2、表示某人出了某事(常指不好的事)，要用sth.+happen+tosb.這壹結構來表達。
3、表示某人碰巧做某事，要用sb.+happen+todosth.這壹結構來表達。
4、happen表示碰巧或恰巧發生某事時，還可用Ithappens/happenedthat...這壹結構來表達。
