collide：

三、側重點不同
collide除了指物理上的碰撞，也可以表示“〔不同的觀念、想法等〕碰撞〔而產生有趣結果〕；crash是擬聲詞，指有力的或帶有金屬碰擊聲的打、敲或相互沖擊。
