壹日平冢組來了位新人刑警西園寺公輔（山下智久飾），這個精英公子哥正義感十足、壹根筋似的單純，不過有個怪癖就是格外喜歡圓圓的東西。這樣的兩人組成了頗為有趣的刑警拍檔，與各式各樣的犯人展開了鬥爭。?
