在晴朗的夏秋之夜，天上繁星閃耀，壹道銀河橫貫南北。
銀河的東西兩岸，各有壹顆閃亮的星星，隔河相望，遙遙相對，那就是牽牛星和織女星。
織女星後來衍化成神話中的女神。
民間即稱為七姐、天仙娘娘、七娘媽等，是編織雲彩、情侶、婦女、兒童的保護神。
世間無數的有情男女都會在七夕夜晚對著星空向織女祈禱自己的姻緣美滿。
