壹、讀音不同
look for：英 [luk f?:] 美 [l?k f?r]?
find：英 [fa?nd] 美 [fa?nd]?

妳可以在國外找壹份工作，那裏與環境相關的工作報酬更高，也更穩定。
2、We've found a great new restaurant near the office.
我們在辦公處附近發現了壹家挺好的新餐館。
二、側重點不同
find?“找到”，強調找的結果，不可延續，賓語通常是某個丟失的東西或者人。look for?“尋找”，強調找的動作，是延續性動詞詞組，同義詞組是hunt for。
1、If you buy a drier, look for one with a sensor which switches off when clothes are dry.?
妳若要買烘幹機，找壹臺帶感應器的，可以在衣服幹的時候自動斷電。
2、A whale was found washed up on the shore.
壹頭鯨被發現沖到了岸上。
三、常用短語不同
此外，find還常用於find it +adj. +to do sth.的結構中，表示“發現做某事..."。
