no more=not any more
no more 和 not any more 可以做賓語，no longer 不可以
No longer意思是“不再”，其確切含意為某狀態在某個時刻之後不再繼續下去了。所以，當妳從學校畢業了，就可以說：I'm no longer a student.我不再是個學生了。
有兩個短語和no longer同義，即not…any longer和not…any more，但他們側重的方面不同。前者側重時間，比如：
He no longer lives here. = He doesn't live here any longer.
他不在這兒居住了。(壹個時間以前他住在這兒，過了這個時間，他就離開了。)
後者側重程度和數量，比如：
You can drink no more. = You can't drink any more.
妳不能再喝了。(喝酒的量到了壹定程度，不能再繼續下去了。)
要註意的是：由於no longer本身就帶有否定的含義，即表示“再也不”，所以不能在同壹個句子中加入否定詞，比如：
I'll come here no longer.我再也不來了。
