2.term用法：基本意思是“期,期限”,引申可表示“學期”“開庭期,會期”“終止期”等。作“學期”解時,其前有時加不定冠詞,主要是指英國的中學、大學中壹年三個學期中的任壹學期。作“終止期”解時,通常用作單數形式。
