Mohe is one of the few places in China with a subarctic climate — long, severe winters and short, warm summers. It has a long history and profound cultural heritage. However, few people pay attention to the city until a song made it a famous tourism destination.

Mohe Ballroom , which was written by Liu Shuang, was inspired by his trip to Mohe, Heilongjiang Province, China’s northernmost city. He met an elderly man who was dancing alone in a ballroom.

由柳爽所寫的《漠河舞廳》，靈感誕生於他的壹次旅行。柳爽到東北邊陲小城漠河采風，遇到了壹位在舞廳裏獨自舞蹈的老人。

The song reminded many people of a big fire breaking out in mountains near Mohe on May 6, 1987. The fire, which lasted 28 days, destroyed over 10,000 square kilometers of forest and caused mortality and economic loss. The song is also related to a tragic love story.

這首歌讓很多人想起了1987年5月6日漠河—大興安嶺山區發生特大森林火災。大火持續了28天，焚毀了1萬多平方公裏的森林，造成人員傷亡和經濟損失。這首歌是關於壹個悲情的愛情故事。
