so that和so as的區別為：指代不同、用法不同、側重點不同。

1、so that：因此，以便。
2、so as：只要，用於否定句和疑問句。
二、用法不同
1、so that：so that 引導目的狀語從句，意為“以便，為了”，相當於in order to/so as to.常放於句中，但是in order to常放於句首或句中，so as to常放於句末。
2、so as：so...as 壹般用於否定句,so...as ?壹般在句型not so ...as 中使用，與not as ... as 同義，也就是說so...as 常用於否定句中 。
三、側重點不同
1、so that：that不能在從句中擔任成分。
2、so as：as必須在從句中擔任成分（主語、賓語等）。
