我們先來看下to 的最常見的,用法.
壹、 介詞to
介詞to表示“向”、“往”、“直到……為止”、“給”、“對於”、“按”、“比”，既可以指時間、方向、距離、對象或結果，又可以指程度、直接或間接關系，後面必須接名詞、代詞或數詞，構成介詞短語，通常作表語、賓語補足語、狀語或後置定語。例如：
1. As far as I know, Mr Wang has been to London. 據我所知，王先生到過倫敦。（作表語）
2. Japan is to the east of China.日本在中國的東面。（作表語）
3. It's no good leaving things to the last moment. 把事情留到最後時刻來做是沒有好處的。（作賓語補足語）
4. Let's drink to his health. 讓我們為他的健康幹杯。（作目的狀語）
5. He tied the monkey to the tree.他把猴子拴在樹上。（作地點狀語）

二、 動詞不定式符號to
動詞不定式符號to無詞義，後面必須接動詞原形，構成不定式短語，通常作主語、表語、狀語、賓語、賓語補足語或後置定語。例如：
1. To play computer games is wrong. 玩電腦遊戲是錯誤的。（作主語）
2. My job is to teach English.我的工作是教英語。 （作表語）
3. The coffee is too hot to drink. 這咖啡太燙不能喝。（作結果狀語）
4. She stopped to have a look. 她停下來看了看。 （作目的狀語）
5. I wish to go there. 我希望去那兒。（作賓語）
6. I asked him to talk with you. 我叫他和妳談談。 （作賓語補足語）
7. She has no paper to write with. 她沒有紙寫字。（作後置定語）
to do 所有的表達，如表結果，表目的時,跟不定式（to do）作賓語的動詞：
