I thought the film was a well done film. I thought that the makeup on Kate was very distracting. Hollywood did take license completely rewrite the ending from the book.

The interaction between the family members was very well done. I felt huge remorse for lack of normality for the two children, who were not sick. That is what smacked as so real. I loved Alec Baldwin as the attorney. His character was everything you wanted him to be. Most of all I really loved the sweetness between Taylor (a young man who was also receiving chemo therapy) and Kate. There was a wonderful chemistry between them.

I would suggest seeing this film.
