1、意思不同
look after意思：照料;照顧;照管;（尤指作為工作）料理，打理
take care of意思：處理;應對;照顧;照看;看護
2、用法不同
look after用法：基本意思是“為了看清某物而有意識地向某壹方向看去”，指使用人的視力，強調的是有意地“看”的動作。
take care of用法：care用作名詞時意思是“照顧”“護理”，也可指“小心”“註意”，還可指“憂慮”“掛念”，均用作不可數名詞。
3、側重點不同
look after側重點：look after適用於醫生對病人的照顧以及主人對寵物的照顧。
take care of側重點：比較口語化壹點，有局限性，比如讓人照料什麽東西。
