正文：
Television is indeed the only way for us to receive information. However, if we do not have a proper rest, no matter how great a creation is, it will hurt our eyes. However, the invention of television has affected our life, expanded our knowledge and intervened in our work and rest.
電視的確是我們資訊接收的不二途徑，然而如果沒有做好適當的休息，再偉大的創造還是會使眼睛受傷的；不過電視的發明影響了我們的生活，更擴充了我們的知識，也介入了我們的作息。
We used to work at sunrise and sunset. Since we had TV, we also had more entertainment activities in the evening. Not only can we forget the unpleasant things, but also make the warm laughter at home, which can not only heal our hearts but also promote our feelings.
從前日出而作、日落而息的我們，自從有了電視，晚上也多了些娛樂活動，不但令我們忘掉不愉快的事，還能使家裏出現溫暖的笑聲，既能療愈心靈又能促進大家的感情。
However, TV is like a buffet. Although there are delicious "healthy fruits and vegetables" and "junk food" in it, we should select suitable TV programs and properly absorb the nutrients in them to achieve the best use of TV. Don't waste its good intentions!
只是，電視像個自助餐，裏面雖然有美味可口的“健康蔬果”，也有“垃圾食物”，所以我們要挑選適合自己的電視節目，並適當地吸取裏面的養分，才能達到電視的最佳用途，千萬不要枉費它的壹番好意喔！
As the saying goes, "a day's need, a hundred works for preparation." In fact, there are a lot of essential things in life, which are the crystallization of many people's painstaking efforts, such as the television that spreads knowledge, the computer that transmits information, the car that shortens the distance, the paper that records the drops and the light that lights the world.
俗話說﹕“壹日之所需，百工斯為備。”生活上其實有很多必備的物品是許多人心血的結晶，就像是散播知識的電視、傳送資訊的電腦、縮短路程的汽車、記錄點滴的紙和照亮世界的電燈……
It's all the achievements of predecessors who have racked their brains and made our life more perfect and convenient! When we enjoy the convenience brought by these inventions, we should cherish them even more so as to live up to the great contributions of the inventors.
全是前人絞盡腦汁，研究發明出來的成果，才讓我們的生活更加完善與方便！在我們享受這些發明所帶來的便利時，更應該要加以愛惜才不辜負發明者的偉大貢獻。
