smoke-free environment ：無煙環境

smoke-free的意思是“禁止吸煙”。

我們在有些公***場所可以看到NO SMOKING的牌子，這類場所就屬於no-smoking area（無煙區）。不過，smoke-free也不壹定跟吸煙有關，例如smoke-free chicken wings（無煙雞翅）就是用無煙的方式烤出的雞翅，沒有煙熏味。這裏的後綴free表示“無……的”，“免除……的”。例如：disease-free（無病的），duty-free（免稅的），worry-free（無憂無慮的）。
