should的用法
1、表示“應該,應當”
He should work harder.
他應該更加努力。
You should help your mother with the housework.
妳應該幫妳母親做家務。
Crime should be punished.
犯罪應受懲罰。
Should I wear a coat?
我要穿大衣嗎?
2、表示“可能,該(=will probably) ”
He should arrive soon.
他可能很快就到了。
The train should have already left.
火車大概已經走了。
3、表示“萬壹”
If it should rain tomorrow, don’t expect me.
萬壹明天下雨,就不要等我了。
4、表示“竟然”
It’s strange that he should be late.
真奇怪,他竟會遲到。
5、表示粗暴地拒絕壹項建議、要求或指示
What time does the film start?
電影什麽時候開始?

我怎麽知道?

安非常不高興。

6、should加完成式:should have done表示“本應該做某事,但事實上卻沒有做”;shouldn’t have done表示“本不該做某事,但事實上卻做了”。如:
You should have got up earlier. 妳本應該早點起的'。
You shouldn’t have told him about it. 妳本不該把這件事告訴他的。
