兩者區別
present相比起來是比較正式的，相當於是大禮，厚禮，所以在妳送禮物給別人的時候很少告訴別人，I've got a present for u，這樣會讓別人覺得好笑，壹般都是I've got a gift for u，就象中文的“區區薄禮，不成敬意。"
gift就比較隨便隨意了，不過要註意，特別是美國人，說what a present!的意思是，瞧瞧這麽多這麽貴重的禮物!而what a gift!就不是很禮貌，暗中帶有禮物很寒酸的意思。
