first conditional —— 第壹條件句，又稱真實條件句，主要用於陳述語氣，假設的情況可能發生。第壹條件句中的動詞應該用壹般現在時代替壹般將來時；用現在完成時代替將來完成時。如：

If Mary goes to the concert, she will bring her brother.

If the weather is fine tomorrow, we shall go to the country.

second conditional —— 第二條件句，又稱虛擬條件，是與現在或將來事實相反的條件，條件句中的動詞有：現在—— were/did; 將來 —— were to do/should do/ did.如：

If I were you, I would join them in the voluntary work.

If it were to rain tomorrow, we would cancle the outing.
