《鈴兒響叮當》是詹姆斯·羅德·皮爾彭特作詞作曲的壹首兒童歌曲，1857年美國波士頓假日學校的學生在教堂有壹場感恩節演唱，並很快成為了壹首膾炙人口的經典聖誕歌曲。
兩年後，這首歌再度公開發表，正式命名為Jingle Bells(The One Horse Open Sleigh)。
作者經歷：
Jingle Bells的詞曲作者詹姆斯·羅德·皮爾彭特(James Lord Pierpont,25 April 1805 - 5 August 1886)畢業於耶魯大學，他遵照祖父的意願，做了壹名教師。由於他對學生總是慈祥寬容而缺乏嚴厲，保守的教育界就把他擠走了。
