用法：
1、prefer?somebody?to?do?something?寧願某人做某事
例：My?daddy?prefers?me?not?to?swim?in?that?river?because?it's?too?dangerous.?
我爸爸寧願我不要去那條河裏遊泳因為那太危險了。
2、prefer+名詞/動名詞/不定式
例：（1）I?prefer?some?apples.?我更喜歡吃蘋果。
（2）I?prefer?having(to?have)?some banana. 我更喜歡吃香蕉。
3、prefer?A?to?B?在A和B中更喜歡A
例：（1）I?prefer?green?tea?to?coffee.?綠茶和咖啡比較起來我更喜歡綠茶。
（2）I?prefer?cooking?myself?to?eating?out.?我寧願自己做飯也不願出去吃。
註意這個用法中肯定的是前者，A和B必須在形式上保持壹致，即要麽都是名詞，要麽都是動名詞。沒有使用不定式的用法。

註意：這裏rather?than後面可以用going?out或to?go?out都可以。而且rather?than也可以放在句子開頭。

2、賓語從句prefer?that，賓語從句中常用虛擬語氣。
