after a time 壹段時間後（比較長的時間，幾個小時後者幾天這樣子，壹段時間，某些時期）
如：
After a time I grew dissatisfied with thework.
過了段時間，我對這工作感覺不滿意了
late 遲些，晚些(不確定的時間可長可短，如白天提問的，可能今晚給答復，或者遲些日子答復)
表遲的時候壹般用比較級later
如：
I will answer you later.我遲點給妳答復。（不確定的時間）
