（壹） “It is / was + 被強調部分 + that + 其它”。如 It is Tom that likes this colour. (強調主語) / It was my mother that I gave the present to yesterday. (強調賓語) / It was because I fell asleep that I missed the TV play. (強調狀語) / It was into the schoolbag that he put his books. (強調補語) 註意：
1. 強調“人”的時候，也可以用who來代替that。如 It is Tom that likes this colour. = It is Tom who likes this colour.
2. 無論強調的是單數還是復數，都必須用“It is / was …”，不能用“It are / were …”。
3. 如果強調壹般疑問句，只需把is / was提到句首即可。如 Was it during the Second World War that he died?
4. 如果強調特殊疑問詞，只需把疑問詞放在句首，後接壹般疑問句語序即可。如 Who was it that broke the bowl? (“到底是誰打壞了那個碗?”)
