1. 口語中說的I beg your pardon可以有多種用法：
(1) 用於道歉，比用I?m sorry更正式。如：
I beg your pardon. I suppose I should have knocked. 對不起，我想我本來應該敲門的。
(2) 用於沒聽清或沒聽懂對方的話，請對方再說壹遍(可只說Pardon，說時用升調)。如：
I beg your pardon?I didn?t hear what you said. 請再說壹遍?我沒聽見妳剛才說的話。
(3) 用於表示生氣或氣憤。如：
Pardon me, but this is my coat. 對不起，這是我的外套。
