1.nolonger中的longer是副詞long的比較級，long有after a certain point of
time(在某壹時刻以後)之意，著重表示時間的不再延續，意為“如今不再”。nolonger等於not...anylonger。
I'mnolongera student.我不再是個學生了。
2.nomore中的more是many /
much的比較級，more有again之意，著重表示數量或程度的減少，意為“再也沒有更多(大)的數量(程度)”。nomore等於not...anymore。
You can drinknomore. = You can't drinkanymore.
妳不能再喝了。(喝酒的量到了壹定程度，不能再繼續下去了。)
I didn’t receive her lettersanymore.
二、時態區別
1.nolonger/not...anylonger表示不再繼續或再現過去某壹時刻發生或存在而壹直延續的動作 /
狀態時，常用於過去時、現在時或將來時的句子中。如：
He wasnolongera thief. 他不再是小偷了。
When there isnogravity, our feetnolongerstay on the ground.
如果沒有重力，我們的腳就不能再站穩在地面上。
2.nomore /not...anymore表示再也不重復過去反復發生的動作時，常用於過去時或將來時的句子中。如：
Now she wasn't afraidanymore. 現在她再也不害怕了。
三、位置區別
當修飾動詞時，nolonger通常置於be或行為動詞前;nomore壹般置於行為動詞後。not...anylonger與not...anymore常置於句末。如：
She couldnolongerfind a way to get into the valley. 她再也找不到進山谷的路了。
Time or opportunity lost will returnnomore. 機不可失，時不再來。
四、修飾動詞區別
1.nolonger/not...anylonger習慣用來修飾表示狀態的持續動詞(如wait, live, work等)。如：
Don't waitanylonger. 別再等了。
She couldnotkeep up with himanylonger.她不能再趕上他了。
Henolongerlives here. = He doesn't live hereanylonger.
他不在這兒居住了。(壹個時間以前他住在這兒，過了這個時間，他就離開了。)
2.nomore /not...anymore通常用來修飾表示具體動作的瞬間動詞(如go, stand, visit等)。如：
We couldn't stand itanymore. 我們不能再忍受了。
五、作用區別
兩者都可用來修飾動詞，在句中作狀語。當nomore作“不再(有、存在)”解時，還可作定語和賓語。如：
Later when they are far away from the earth and there isnomore gravity,
they find they are unable to stay in one place.
過後，當他們遠離地球，到了不再有地球引力的地方時，他們發現自己不可能停留在壹個地方不動。(作定語)
I havenomore to say. 我沒有什麽要說的了。(作賓語)
