no matter what 只能引導讓步狀語從句不可以引導名詞性從句。如：No matter when I'm unhappy, it is my friend who cheers me up .不管什麽時候我不開心了，總是我的朋友使我振奮起來。

whatever既可以引導讓步狀語從句，也可以引導名詞性從句。 如如：Whatever was said here must be kept secret.我們在這兒說的無論什麽都必須保密。 （名詞性從句 ）如：The lawyer seldom wears anything other than a suit ，whatever the season is. 無論什麽季節，這位律師除了壹套西裝以外很少穿其他衣服。（讓步狀語從句）
