2. 作用不同，where引導的狀語從句做狀語，表示地點；而where引導的定語從句是修飾名詞或代詞，做定語的。例如：We are going to spend the Spring Festival in Beijing, where live my uncle and some relatives.（定語從句）
我們準備去北京度過春節，我叔叔和壹些親戚住在北京。
The park lay where Xinhua Hospital was.(狀語從句，表示公園的位置)
那個公園在以前新華醫院所在的位置。
3. where引導的定語從句可以換成介詞+關系代詞which，where引導的狀語從句不可以的。 如：
The lab where we did the experiment is on the second floor.=The lab in which we did the experiment is on the second floor.
