,However,Solvent Polyurethane still have many shortcomings,such as
deficient gloss film,slower film formation,weak in water proof and
weather resistance,fancy price and so on.Hence,some proper
modification need to be applied to Aqueous Polyurethane to improve its comprehensive properties and application scope.
This paper describes a synthesis of Aqueous Polyurethane Disperser
from Tolylene Diisocyanate (TDI),Polyethers Polyols(PPG220),
Dimethylolpropionic Acid(DMPA) and others,then by means of emulsion
polymerization of acrylic monomer,producing Modified Acrylic / Water-
Borne Polyurethane emulsion(WPUA).Synthesized a serialized modified
emulsion,by which some factors such as appearance,emulsion viscosity
,stability,film hardness,raw material quantity and processing
conditions were explored of that how they affect the performance of
product,and also the optimum formul and processing conditions of WPUA
were determined.
Research has shown that the performance of emulsion and its film tops out at prepolymerization time of 60℃, reaction temperature of 300min,DMPA content of 8%,cross-bonding reagent TMP content of 1%,neutral degree of 90%,neutral temperature of 30℃.
