Lately, I watched a thriller movie "Seven" in which I learned SLOTH (laziness) is one of the instictive natures that people are born with. However, if that was true, why would people ever bother to attend school everyday, to show up for work and work hard, or sacrifying their time and health for something that is not even material? To answer this question, we must first understand people are rational people. That is to say, people do things purposefully. The time, health, wealth, or anything we give up must be for a return that, in some extent, satisfy our needs. And what is constantly against this instinctive nature, laziness and urges us to wake up in the morning, to set goals for life, or to complete the tasks in a time boundary are what we call the inspirations. Inspirations can be either material or psychological, and the inspiration can very much vary among people.
