創作背景
布魯諾·馬爾斯創作這首歌曲的目的，是想要寫壹個他想念了數個月的愛人。在創作歌詞的過程中，布魯諾·馬爾斯並沒有寫任何深刻或富有詩意的內容，因為他只想要寫壹個讓人壹聽就想陷入愛河的故事。
Needlz和哈利勒·沃爾頓制作出該歌曲的壹段伴奏後，就將其交給了布魯諾·馬爾斯的創作團隊The Smeezingtons。在布魯諾·馬爾斯錄制完成副歌的時候，The Smeezingtons就得到了這段伴奏。通過這段旋律，The Smeezingtons對該歌曲的音樂進行了改進 。
