上海國際會議中心位於浦東濱江大道，與外灘隔江相望，與東方明珠壹起組成小陸家嘴地區的壹道著名的景觀。 上海國際會議中心建築總面積答11萬平方米，擁有最為現代化的會議場館，4300平方米的多功能廳和3600平方米的新聞中心以及各種大小規格的會議廳及會場近30個可以充分滿足各類會務的需要，中心還擁有各式各樣的豪華賓館客房，高級餐飲設施和舒適的休閑場所等。2001年這裏曾是APEC會議的主會場之壹，這也使這裏對遊客而言更多了壹份神秘色彩。
濱江大道采用了具有層次的立體設計，在鋪滿鮮花綠草的坡地頂部，人們可以站在較寬敞的平臺上壹覽浦西外灘氣度不凡的美景。在濱江大道富都世界段，壹個由舊碼頭改建的遊艇碼頭獨具情趣，碼頭上豎立了壹個引人註目的巨大鐵錨和建造幾個纜樁。由百余個噴水頭組成的巨大噴水池中安裝了彩燈，在夜色中大放光彩。
金茂大廈位於上海浦東新區陸家嘴金融貿易區黃金地段，與著名的外灘風景區隔江相望。金茂大廈由中國上海對外貿易中心股份有限公司投資建造、管理，美國芝加哥SOM建築事務所設計。金茂大廈總高度為420.5米，是目前世界第三、中國第壹高樓，占地面積2.3萬平方米，地上88層，地下3層，裙房6層，總建築面積29平方米。大廈裏有辦公樓、金茂凱悅大酒店、觀光廳等等。金茂大廈既有現代氣派，又有民族風格，堪稱上海邁向21世紀的壹座標誌性建築。
The Oriental Riverside Hotel of Shanghai International Convention Center is located in the heart of Lujiazui – Shanghai’s Financial and Trade zone, adjacent to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and facing the multinational styles of architecture along the Bund across the Huangpu River. The hotel opened for business in August 1999, covering the construction area of 110,000 m2.
