translate的基本意思是“翻譯”,常指把壹種語言譯成另壹種語言。引申可作“轉化”“解釋”解。
translate可用作及物動詞,也可用作不及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,可接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可接以as短語充當補足語的復合賓語。translate用作不及物動詞時,其主動形式可表示被動意義。
