壹、含義不同
risk
n. 危險；風險；投資報酬的風險。
vt. 冒 ... 的危險；承受...的風險。
adventure
n. 冒險；奇遇。
vt. 冒險；嘗試。
vi. 冒險；大膽進行。
二、用法不同
risk
risk用作及物動詞，接名詞、代詞、動名詞(不接動詞不定式)作賓語。可用於被動結構。
risk也可表示(玩紙牌、賽馬等)賭錢，後接具體的錢數或money。
He saved my life at the risk of his own.
他冒著自己的生命危險救了我的命。
Investors in Central Asia have to face political risk.
在中亞,投資者還得面臨政治風險。
adventure
adventure多用作抽象名詞，常用單數形式；如果用以指具體的事或行為，則可用作可數名詞。

中文的意思是,對於壹個理性極其成熟的人來說,死亡僅僅是下壹個偉大冒險。
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't persuade his friends to give up the adventure.

三、側重點不同
risk
risk的基本意思是“冒…的危險”，含有“以…孤註壹擲並願意承擔後果”的意味。可指冒由於做某事而發生另壹不幸之事的風險。也可指雖然明知做某事會產生不幸後果，但仍不顧壹切地進行。
adventure
adventure可指“驚險的事或冒險的行為”，也可指“有刺激性的，非常激動人心的危險經歷或工作”。
