關於演唱者：
Il Divo是由四位傑出的大男孩組成，他們個個相貌英俊，都經過正規的聲樂訓練，他們將流行歌曲、老歌和新歌的演唱提高到了壹個新的水平，彌合了流行音樂和正統音樂之間長期存在的裂痕。這個樂隊的成員是用了兩年時間從世界各地搜尋而找到的，他們壹個是美國人，壹個是法國人，壹個是西班牙人，還有壹個是瑞士人。2004年上半年，他們在倫敦進行排練和錄音，於11月1日發行了以自己樂隊名字命名的首張專輯。專輯壹經推出即大獲成功，24小時內就賣出了三萬張，第壹周便登上全英專輯排行榜冠軍王座，壹時洛陽紙貴，各音像商店存貸告謦，紛紛緊急追加訂單。

在樂隊中擔任第壹男高音的是來自美國的大衛 米勒，他畢業於美國俄亥俄歐柏林音樂學院，並獲得了聲樂學士學位和歌劇戲劇碩士學位。雖然年紀不大，但資歷不淺，過去十年來他在世界各地的四十多家歌劇院擔任過首席男高音。
這個組合的第二男高音是來自瑞士的烏爾斯·布勒是。他英俊硬朗的外貌，深邃、清澈的高音和中音，給人留下難以磨滅的印象。烏爾斯17歲時就在家鄉盧塞恩組織了壹個搖滾樂隊，後來到荷蘭阿姆斯特丹音樂學院學習聲樂，向多位瑞典法國著名男高音學習過。在參加這個組合前，他在荷蘭歌劇院演唱了七年多。
擔任男中音的卡洛斯·馬林來自西班牙，他在馬德裏也已成名多年，壹直在西班牙版的《悲慘世界》、《美女與野獸》等大型歌劇中擔任男主角。近些年來卡洛斯贏得了世界眾多觀眾的喜愛，並在很多歌劇中被稱為無可爭議的第壹男中音。
來自法國的塞巴斯蒂安·伊藏巴爾可能是四人當中資歷最淺的壹個，他沒有接受過專業訓練，但天賦過人，塞巴斯蒂安還是壹位優秀的詞曲作者和音樂制作人，他精通吉他、鋼琴等多種樂器。2003年參加IL DIVO組合的時候，他正在擔任壹張獨唱專輯的制作人。
