時間過得真快呀!壹轉眼就到了年底。我最盼望的就是每年的聖誕節了。那個留著長長的白胡須，穿著紅色衣服，帶著紅色帽子的聖誕老爺爺壹直都是我最喜歡的人物。
每年的聖誕節，不管多忙，媽媽都會去超市買回壹棵綠色的聖誕樹，把它擺放在客廳的地板上。媽媽還買回很多稀奇古怪的小玩具，我們壹起往樹上掛，最後還要纏上小小的彩燈，壹插上電源，整棵聖誕樹就發出五顏六色的光芒，就像是滿天的繁星，美麗極了。我和哥哥興奮地圍著聖誕樹轉來轉去，好像兩只歡快的小兔子。到了晚上十點，媽媽總是催著我們去睡覺，媽媽說：“孩子們，快去睡覺，夜裏聖誕老爺爺要送禮物給妳們，晚了可就收不到了。”我們趕緊往自己的房間裏沖，誰都怕錯過了聖誕老爺爺的禮物。就這樣每年我們都能在聖誕夜收到自己想要的禮物，我的心裏對聖誕老爺爺充滿了感激，我多麽想親眼看壹次聖誕老爺爺，親口對他說聲：“謝謝。”
在我八歲那年的聖誕夜，我躺在床上，靜靜地等待著，終於等到客廳的大鐘敲響了十二下，我的心激動的像要跳了出來，“咚咚”地像是戰鼓在敲打著。突然，我房間的門被輕輕地推開了，我偷偷看去，只見媽媽躡手躡腳地走了進來，手裏提著壹個大紙盒，我趕緊閉上了眼睛。媽媽來到我的床前，把禮物放在我的枕邊，俯下身子親了親我的臉，掖了壹下被角悄悄地離開了。我心裏有點失望，卻又甜甜的———原來媽媽就是聖誕老人啊!
現在我知道了這個世界上沒有神仙，聖誕老人也只是個美麗的傳說，可我依然盼望著過聖誕節，因為媽媽的愛溫暖著我們讓聖誕節有了別樣的美麗!
