《鈴兒響叮當》是每逢聖誕壹定會聽到的壹首歌曲，歡快又活潑的歌聲總能給人們帶來好心情。這歌已經有150多年的歷史，最初並不是為聖誕節而是為感恩節寫的，是作曲家詹姆斯寫給父親的學生，幫助學生們參加感恩節演出用的。後來因為不知名原因，就演變成了聖誕節保留曲目 。
1999年，世界三大男高音在維也納聖誕音樂會上也唱過《鈴兒響叮當》，楞是唱出了大河向東流的感覺，簡直就是大型編鐘演奏現場。
