在妳開出支票之前，必須確定妳的賬戶有足夠的資金支付支票上的金額。有些國家把這種賬戶稱為活期賬戶。支票延後兌現/Cheque Hold：支票在存入時都有壹個“延後兌現”期，以確保兌現該支票的金融機構不會退票。支票/Cheque 是付款人向銀行發出的正式書面指令，指示銀行從其賬戶上支付指定的金額給支票上列明的收款人。 支票內容詳解 下面是支票樣本： 1. 請用原子筆填寫，不得使用鉛筆 / Always use a pen when writing a personal check – never a pencil. 妳的姓名地址，銀行分行行址，支票序號，支票填寫日期，以數字（如：1,200. 00/）表示的金額，以英文（如：Thousand,Hundred,Ten）表示的金額，收款人或公司名稱，支票全碼包括： 3位數字（支票序號）+ 5位數字（銀行分行序號）+ 3位數字（金融機構序號）+11位（銀行賬號）. 2. 在日期欄寫上正確的日期格式： 日日/月月/年年年年 / Write in correct date on the “Date Line”. 3. 用英文寫上收款人的姓名或收款機構的名稱 / On the “Pay to the Order” line, write in the name of the person or company to whom the check is being written. “pay to the order of” 4. 金額欄要填上含兩位小數點的阿拉伯數字 （如：$145.34）/ In the “Dollar Box”, write in the numeric value the check. 金額那欄要填上數字 5. 支票數字使用大寫（Thousand, Hundred, Ten）,分/角部分要用分數表示 / On the “Dollar Amount Line”, write out the spoken representation of the amount written into the “Dollar Box”. Utilize the cents as a fractional representation. 6. 簽名欄請寫上要開支票人的名字 / On the “Signature Line”, sign your name. 註意事項 國外支票 在填寫完整金額部分時,cent部分的寫法是 “英文數字表達” and 多少cent/ 100,後面那條線壹直劃到dollars前面,用意是防止別人亂改數字.
