英語圖表作文如何拿高分？

圖表作文至少包含描述圖表與解釋原因兩個部分，而當前的圖表作文大多還有第三個段落。圖表作文的規律性很強，不像圖畫式作文那樣富於變化。1．首段的寫作圖表作文有表格（table）、柱形圖（bar chart）、餅狀圖（pie chart）和折線圖（diagram）之分，後三種都屬於圖表的範疇（chart）。不管是chart還是table，都需要進行描述，壹般放在文章的第壹部分，長度宜適中。描述數據我們要首先看看是幾個變量（A），每個變量有幾個數據（B），不妨以A*B表示。如果只有壹個變量，有三個數據，可以描述如下：From the chart we can see clearly that the average number of hours a student spends on Internet per week has increased from less than two hours in 1998 to nearly four hours in 2000, and then to 20 hours in 2004. 如果是最常見的是2*3的情形，可以描述如下：From the chart, we can see clearly that in a big city in China, state?owned houses declined from 75% in 1990 to 60% in 1995 and then to 20% in 2000, while private houses rose from 25% to 40% and then to 80% during the same period. 這裏用了while引起從句來突顯對比，是壹種非常好的辦法，如果用兩句話來描述，也完全可以。如果是1*n（n>3）的情形，將頭與尾描述出來即可，比較好的方法就是在句中描述最後壹個與第壹個相比變化了多少。碰到多變量、每個變量多數據的情形，大家應首先進行分類，分成上升、下降兩類，或者上升、下降、不變三類，這樣問題就迎刃而解了。2． 第二段的寫作第二段是解釋原因的段落。我們談談兩個問題。首先是過渡句這個問題。這裏不大可能放在第壹段，因為第壹段不可能像某些命題作文那樣簡潔（如只有壹句）——例如提綱式作文中的批駁類文章中除第二段首句批駁之外還有首段末句批駁，效果很強烈。其次就是此段的主題句(topic sentence)的問題。此句或主觀或客觀，並無拘束，只要上下文風格統壹即可。主觀：We believe that three reasons can account for this phenomenon.

主觀之變體（使用插入語）：Three reasons, in my mind, can account for this phenomenon.
