贊美詩《奇異恩典》原唱是凱瑟琳·詹金斯。
《奇異恩典》由英國牧師約翰·牛頓於1779年作詞，是壹首懺悔和感恩的贊美詩。約翰·牛頓1725年出生於倫敦，父親是壹位船長，母親是基督徒，曾與父親六次出海，直至父親去世，壹次出海遭遇風暴，全船除他壹人全部遇難，從此開始宣揚上帝的福音並成為壹名傳教士。
1764年開始擔任聖職，並終身致力於反對奴隸制度。約翰·牛頓精通拉丁和希臘文，滿腹經綸，喜歡寫詩，壹生寫過不少感動人的贊美詩，1807年12月21日牛頓去世，約翰·牛頓壹生創作了280多首的贊美詩歌，《奇異恩典》是其中最具有代表性並廣為流傳的壹首。這首歌曲由凱瑟琳·詹金斯演唱。
