Synopsis
The Black Tulip by Dumas, Alexandre depicted a love story between a young men and a young lady in 17th century’ bourgeois revolution of Holland where was full of fierce politic warfare and turbulent life; Baerle, who was a doctor, was arrested and put into prison for some reason. Rosa was the warder’s daughter. In prison, they fell in love with each other. Their love was holy and sincere. They cooperated and cultivated a new breed of tulip-black tulip.
