其成員分別為：尼克·卡特（Nickolas Gene Carter）、
霍伊·多羅夫（Howie Dorough）、
布萊恩·利特爾（Brian Littrell）、
亞歷山大·詹姆斯·邁克林（Alexander James McLean）
凱文·理查德森（已退出）
成立之初五位成員都不過十幾歲。
至今為止他們已經在美國銷售了3800萬張唱片，全球銷量近9000萬張，是自1990年代中期來最受歡迎的男生組合。
由於他們在美國當時是較早的壹個男孩團體，所以被譽為“男孩團體皇上皇”。
