馬克·吐溫（Mark Twain,1835年11月30日－1910年4月21日）,原名塞繆爾·蘭賀爾·克萊門斯 （Samuel Langhorne Clemens) (射手座）是美國的幽默大師、小說家、作家，也是著名演說家，19世紀後期美國現實主義文學的傑出代表。雖然他的財富不多，卻無損他的高超幽默、機智與名氣，堪稱美國最知名人士之壹。其交友廣闊，威廉·迪安·豪威爾士、布克·華盛頓、尼古拉·特斯拉、海倫·凱勒、亨利·羅傑諸君，皆為其友。他曾被譽為：文學史上的林肯。海倫·凱勒曾言：“我喜歡馬克吐溫——誰會不喜歡他呢？即使是上帝，亦會鐘愛他，賦予其智慧，並於其心靈裏繪畫出壹道愛與信仰的彩虹。”威廉·福克納稱馬克·吐溫為“第壹位真正的美國作家，我們都是繼承他而來”。其於1910年四月二十壹日去世，享年七十五，安葬於紐約州艾瑪拉。

Helen Keller once said: "I like Mark Twain - who does not like him? Even God, will love him, given his wisdom, and their hearts to join in painting a rainbow of love and faith." William Faulkner said Mark Twain as "the first truly American writer, and we are all inherited from him." Its April 21, 1910, died 75, buried in the New York State Aymara.
